Rightmove the popular UK property website has launched an iPhone App to enable users to search for property on the move.

• Rightmove knows where you are – view properties for sale or to rent in your exact location.
• Search for properties on the train, in the park… wherever your day takes you.
• View full screen colour property images in a sleek slideshow.
• Phone the agent with a single tap. Just enquiring? Drop them an email straight from your phone.

The Rightmove application is available now in the App Store and is a free download.

Gnomedex gets its own iPhone application
and is available for free download
through the Apple iTunes Store [iTunes link]. Gnomedex is a technology conference for the world’s leading bloggers and tech-savvy enthusiasts which will be held on August 20 – 22, 2009 in Seattle.

MeLLmo recently announced that business application Roambi now supports the iPhone OS 3.0 and is available immediately as a free download through the iTunes App Store at http://www.roambi.com/getroambi.

The iPhone is spreading across the globe, according to the latest monthly report from AdMob. The report revealed that users from countries other than U.S. is increasingly growing.

The report found that 54% of iPhone and iPod touch users worldwide in June were in the U.S., down from 61% in January. This signals that international adoption has picked up since then, although the U.S. still has by far the biggest proportion of users of any country.

In another news,  Apple’s recently announced that it increased iPhone sales by a whopping 636%.

The high-end online fashion retailer Net-a-Porter.com recently released its free iPhone application, the Net-App [iTunes link]. It allows shoppers to browse and purchase new clothes and shoes as well as to create wish-lists and share them with friends.

According to Alison Loehnis, vice president of sales and marketing at Net-a-Porter.com, one-fifth of Net-a-Porter.com’s customers have an iPhone or iPod Touch. Launched in June 2000, the Net-a-Porter website has been viewed by over 1.8 million women each month.

It’s another “whats near me” app for iPhone. MasterCard Worldwide announced the Priceless Picks iPhone application, allowing users to find local shopping deals, entertainment option, dining venues and more, thanks to the device’s GPS technology. The free app is available at the iPhone App Store or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
